See the Good in Yourself

Imagine yourself sitting in a chair. And across from you, in Jesus. What would he say to you? Do you imagine he would say, "You should do this, or you must do that". "You need to change".

No, my dear brothers and sisters, he would accept you the way that you are. So often, and some how we struggle to accept ourselves as we are. We look at the shame and the mistakes that we make and condemn ourselves for what we have done. We look at ourselves and see shame. 

Let it not be so. Rather let God be true and every man a liar. For there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ, Jesus. They are being made into completely and totally new as old things pass away and new things come. So let us look at ourselves and see all the good things God is doing in us Romans 8:1, 2 Corinthians 5:17).
