Though my father and mother forsake me, the LORD will receive me (Psalm 27.1).

Because you are sons, God sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, the Spirit who calls out, “Abba, Father.” So you are no longer a slave, but a son; and since you are a son, God has made you also an heir (Galatians. 4.6, 7).

“You are worthy, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, for you created all things, and by your will they were created and have their being. (Revelation 4.11)”

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life (John 3.16).

Your attitude should be the same as that of Christ Jesus: Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be grasped, but made himself nothing, taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness. And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself and became obedient to death--even death on a cross! Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. (Philippians 2.5-11).

 Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign: The virgin will be with child and will give birth to a son, and will call him Immanuel. (Isaiah 7.14).

 “…and he will reign over the house of Jacob forever; his kingdom will never end.”  How will this be,” Mary asked the angel, “since I am a virgin?  The angel answered, “The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you.  So the holy one to be born will be called the Son of God” (Luke 1.33-35).

Surely he took up our infirmities and carried our sorrows, yet we considered him stricken by God, smitten by him, and afflicted. But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon him, and by his wounds we are healed. We all, like sheep, have gone astray, each of us has turned to his own way; and the LORD has laid on him the iniquity of us all (Isaiah 53.4-6).

 A wicked and adulterous generation asks for a miraculous sign! But none will be given it except the sign of the prophet Jonah.   For as Jonah was three days and three nights in the belly of a huge fish, so the Son of Man will be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth. (Matthew 12.39-40).

 I am the Living One; I was dead, and behold I am alive for ever and ever! And I hold the keys of death and Hades. (Revelation 1.18; John 18.28-42).

 “Peace be with you!”  Then he said to Thomas, “Put your finger here; see my hands. Reach out your hand and put it into my side. Stop doubting and believe.”  “Thomas said to him, My Lord and my God!” (John 20.27-28).

We believe that Jesus died and rose again and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him (1 Thessalonians 4.14).

The LORD says to my Lord: "Sit at my right hand until I make your enemies a footstool for your feet.”(Psalm 110.1).

In the presence of God and of Christ Jesus, who will judge the living and the dead, and in view of his appearing and his kingdom, I give you this charge: (1 Timothy 4.1)

“But the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you” (John 14.26).

For the kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking, but of righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit (Romans 14.17).

Suddenly a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting…All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit… (Acts 2.2, 4).

And I tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not overcome it (Matthew 16.18).

 Jesus said, "Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing (Luke 23.34).

Then neither do I condemn you," Jesus declared. "Go now and leave your life of sin." (John 8.11).

I know that my Redeemer lives, and that in the end he will stand upon the earth.  And after my skin has been destroyed, yet in my flesh I will see God; (Job 19.25-26).

Surely goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever (Psalm 23.6).

“I am the living bread that came down from heaven. If anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever.” (John 6.51)
